5W-40 / 10W-60 Oil Spec (Options) 2014-2017 Models were spec'd with 5W-40, while 2017+ Models were spec'd with 10W-60. There were no known changes requiring the higher 10W-60 so it's believed that either spec can be safely used. However many will choose the factory recommendation for consistency. Note : 10W-60 is known to provide more protection in warmer climates.
